About Me
Ever since I started drawing dresses way back in grade 6 I realized what I wanted to do for a living. After taking a general year at Western University I decided to really pursue my passion for fashion at Ryerson University. I am happy to say that I am now graduating with a Bachelor of Design and have learned more than I could ever have imagined.
Aside from the basics, I enjoy working with my hands to create unique textile designs, embellishments, illustrations. I also like to dabble in photography, embroidery and graphic design.
I hope you can see some of the passion in my work. Much of my inspiration comes from a historical meets modern fusion which you will often see in my designs. I hope you find something that makes you take a second look!
Thank You!

Skills
I have an acute interest in costume design, both historical and modern. I also enjoy the small details like textile design and creating surface texture through embroidery or embellishment and both of these passions mesh well with my interest in eveningwear. I enjoy working with unconventional materials like furs, lazercut materials, vinyls and am always ready to break out a glue gun. I especially love designing templates and patterns to create custom lazercut designs and embellishments for my creations.
Trying a little bit here and there I am familiar with software like Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator as well as the staple Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. I am also familiar with Gerber, PLM and PDS software.
Skills
In my spare time I love working with watercolor paints, beads and baubles to make earrings and anklets and key-chains. I also have my own Canon T3i complete with macro and small telescopic lens that I adore hauling with me where ever I go. I especially enjoy landscape and close up floral photography. When I'm bored of these I often go to press my own eye-shadows to form custom palettes and will play around with creative makeup application and hair techniques.
